Cayce-West Columbia
Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Cayce-West Columbia Branch Library is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the Cayce-West Columbia Branch Library.
The branch is one of the most valuable resources in our community. It is one place where everyone is welcome, where there is no exclusion for any reason age, sex, race, ethnicity, education or work experience.
Our goal is to help our branch offer the best in programming and services.
Through an on-going book sale and membership dues, we support the library financially. One of biggest achievement was the purchase of the marquee sign to advertise programs and events.

We have also provided:

 Financial support for Summer Reading programs for Children, Teens and Adults
 Additional financial support for landscaping needs
 Funds for Furniture, such as, seating and desks
 Funds for children's books
 Financial support for speakers and programs for the public
 Financial support for professional development of staff

As a Friend you will:

 Be invited to an annual meeting
 Receive a biannual newsletter
 Be invited to preview book sale items

Current Officers:

President: J. Gayle Poppell, gayle@gaylepoppell.com
Vice President: Ann Malpass
Secretary/Treasurer: Jackie Boland
